Actress Lorna Tolentino has added a new role to her long career in show business: Philippine Navy reservist.
Tolentino, 65, completed her training and formally graduated from the Philippine Navy Reserve Command in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, on Friday, August 7.
Tolentino shared photos from the ceremony on social media, writing: “Discipline is choosing to finish, even when it’s hard.”
She ended the post with a simple declaration:
“Lorna Tolentino Fernandez, at your service.”
The decision has a personal connection for Tolentino.
Tolentino will serve in both medical and media-related capacities, putting skills from outside the military to use in her new role.
