Celebrities, fans celebrate Kris Aquino's return

Celebrities and fans welcomed Kris Aquino back to the spotlight, filling social media with messages of love and excitement as the Queen of All Media makes her return.

Kris Aquino’s return to the spotlight has celebrities and fans celebrating.

Among them is Bianca Gonzalez who welcomed her back with a simple but fitting message: “The Queen.”

Baus Rufo joined in, deeming Kris “always iconic,” while Mela Habijan wrote, “long live our queen.”

Neri Miranda, Michael Leyva and Kimi Yap also left red heart emojis on Kris’ post.

Bea Fabregas reacted with teary-eyed emojis.

Makeup artist RB Chanco also had a message for Kris.

“no imitation can replace the original. One queen and only one,” Chanco wrote.

Fans were just as excited.

“The Queen is back! We’re so happy! We love you! We missed you!” one netizen wrote.

Another fan pointed out Kris’ influence on lifestyle content, saying she was a blueprint for daily vlogging, documenting personal spaces and being open in front of the camera.

Kris is making her comeback through Netflix’s latest campaign, where she plays the fictional role of Chief Head of Insights and Kontent Analysis, or C.H.I.K.A.

The first of three episodes was released Friday.

In the episode, Kris reports for her first day at work and joins editor Earljohn in the editing room. She also gives her candid thoughts on local titles available on Netflix.

The campaign comes after Kris spent years away from the spotlight while dealing with serious health problems, including multiple autoimmune diseases.

The next episode will be released on August 14, followed by the final episode on August 20.
