The RS 5 Avant features the signature Audi Singleframe grille in front, flanked by matrix LED headlights and daytime running lamps and dynamic turn signals. The RS badge means it boasts of more aggressive styling. It rolls on 21-inch cast aluminum wheels in a darkened diamond turned finish. Other RS hallmarks include a sports exhaust system, and a sport suspension with controlled 2-valve dampers.
Inside, the RS 5 Avant PHEV gets the Audi Sport seat plus wrapped in fine nappa leather, trimmed with honeycomb patterns and contrast stitching. The dark theme blends with the Audi virtual cockpit plus, with plenty of creature comforts such as power seats with memory, heating, massage, and ventilation function, ambient lighting, panoramic glass roof with switchable transparency, tri-zone climate control, and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system.
Exceptional performance
Propelling the vehicle is a 2.9-liter, twin-turbo V6 TFSI engine that’s assisted by an electric motor. It is paired to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission. The electric side is powered by a 25.9-kWh battery. It can drive on electric power alone for up to 83 km. The Audi RS 5 Avant PHEV has a top speed of 285 km/h.
As for safety, the RS 5 Avant is equipped with front, rear, and side airbags with head airbag system and front interaction airbags, plus a lengthy list of sensor and radar-based safety features in the Audi Adaptive Driving Assistant Plus suite.
The Audi RS 5 Avant PHEV is currently on display, along with the Q3 and Q5 hybrid, at Power Plant Mall in Rockwell starting August 7 until August 9, 2026. PGA Cars also has a Porsche display on the other side of the mall, featuring the 911 GT3, Cayman, and Cayenne.
