PCSO provides wheelchairs to Quezon City 3rd District

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over wheelchairs to Third District of Quezon City on July 29,2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles formally handed over the donation to Quezon City 3rd District Representative Franz Pumaren,who accepted the donation on behalf of the district’s beneficiaries.
The donated items will be distributed to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and indigent residents of said district.
Congressman Pumaren thanked GM Robles and PCSO for the timely assistance, noting that the wheelchairs will provide much-needed support to beneficiaries with limited access to assistive devices.
He added that the donated wheelchairs will help improve the recipients’ mobility, independence, and overall quality of life, especially those who have long struggled without access to essential assistive devices.
The donation forms part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, which aims to deliver responsive health and social support to underserved communities nationwide.
