Operatives of the Taguig police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a 52-year-old man after he sold shabu in a buy-bust operation on Aug. 6.
Police identified the suspect as alias Unyot, 52, listed as a street level individual, who was nabbed with P170,000 worth of shabu during an operation at Road 16 corner Roldan Street in Barangay new Lower Bicutan.
Authorities seized five plastic sachets containing 25 grams of shabu and buy-bust money used in the transaction.
The suspect underwent physical and medical examination and was brought to the SDEU office for documentation.
He will face a complaint for violation of Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco, Southern Police District director, commended the Taguig police for the arrest of the suspect.
