The Emmanuel Christian School standout from Sta. Rosa, Laguna took control from the opening rally and wrapped up the match in just 16 minutes to move on in the tournament backed by Yonex, Sunrise, Smart, Gameville Central Park, Cignal, mWell, MVP Sports Foundation, Maynilad, Jollibee, Milksha, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, PLDT, TELESCOOP, and Uratex.
Noceja will next face India's Kyra Raina, who defeated the Philippines' Kathlyn Ocampo, 21–4, 21–11, with a quarterfinal berth at stake.
Joining Noceja in the Round of 16 is Jaleesa Condez, who edged Maldives' Ahmed Mahloof Laiba in a tightly contested 22–20, 22–20 victory in their Round of 32 clash.
On the boys' under-15 side, Carlitos Joe Corrales put up a spirited fight against Malaysia's Yin Jie Wong but ultimately bowed out, 10–21, 21–23, 15–21, in their second-round encounter.
