2 new Zamboanga City police stations activated

Two new police stations were activated in Zamboanga City on Monday, Aug. 4.

Police Station 13 covers Barangays Baliwasan, Campo Islam, San Jose Cawa Cawa, and San Jose Gusu and headed by Police Major Ariel Cabanlong.

Police Station 14, led by Police Major John Enriquez, handles Barangays Santa Catalina, Santa Barbara, Rio Hondo, Mariki, and Zone 4.

These police stations were activated following the approval of the reclassification of this city from Class B to Class A police station category.

Mayor Khymer Olaso, together with Police Regional Office-9 Director Police Brig. Gen. Dennis Esguerra and Zamboanga City Police Office chief Police Col. Fidel Fortaleza, led the inauguration of the two police stations.
