Team DraLys or Team TripLys? 'Dating Alys Perez' heads into emotional mid-season

"Dating Alys Perez" reaches its halfway mark with emotions still running high and fans continuing to debate whether Alys belongs with Drake or Tripp.

The series has found an audience through its emotional storytelling, with Angela Muji's dramatic scenes regularly sparking conversation online. Rabin Angeles has drawn praise for his portrayal of Drake, while Zeke Polina has emerged as a fan favorite as Tripp.

Director Crisanto Aquino also acknowledged the lead stars' growth, posting on X: "They worked hard for it. Saksi ako."

Meanwhile, Rabin and Angela's behind-the-scenes moments in Batangas have added to the excitement among supporters of the pairing. The location also figures prominently in the show's upcoming mid-season episodes, where Drake and Alys are set to cross paths again.

With the story now entering its second half, the series shifts its focus to the consequences of the characters' choices as old feelings and unresolved issues come back into play.
