Electrified Lexus ES lineup launches this week

Lexus Philippines will launch the all-new Lexus ES on Aug. 6, bringing the latest generation of its executive sedan to the local market.
The Philippine lineup will include self-charging hybrid models and the country’s first fully electric Lexus ES. Lexus has not yet disclosed the variants, powertrain specifications, features, or prices for the local range.
The new ES arrives at a time when SUVs account for much of the automotive market, but the executive sedan remains an alternative for buyers who value ride comfort, quietness, and composed road manners.
Redesigned from the ground up, the all-new ES adopts a more confident stance, cleaner exterior surfaces, and more sculpted proportions. It is longer and more spacious than its predecessor, giving the sedan a stronger presence and providing more room inside the cabin.
The exterior introduces the latest Lexus design language, with a contemporary interpretation of the brand’s executive sedan styling.
Lexus will offer the ES in several exterior finishes. The selection includes Sou, a new color making its debut on the all-new ES, as well as Sonic Copper, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, White Nova Glass Flake, and Graphite Black Glass Flake.
Its local powertrain range forms part of Lexus’ multi-pathway electrification strategy. Philippine customers will be able to choose between self-charging hybrid models and a fully electric version.
The hybrid variants combine an internal-combustion engine with an electric motor and do not require external charging. The battery-electric ES, meanwhile, will introduce a fully electric powertrain to the nameplate in the Philippine market.
Further details on the local powertrain lineup will be announced closer to its introduction.
The all-new ES also receives a redesigned interior with premium materials, updated connectivity, and more closely integrated cabin technology. Lexus says the new-generation cabin places greater attention on passenger comfort and ease of use.
The sedan will also be equipped with the latest Lexus driver-assistance technologies, although the company has not yet confirmed which systems and features will be offered on each Philippine variant.
The interior follows the brand’s Omotenashi philosophy, which centers on anticipating the needs of occupants through the design, placement, and operation of the vehicle’s controls and amenities.
The all-new Lexus ES will make its Philippine debut on Aug. 6, when Lexus Philippines is expected to provide more information about the local range.
