Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso personally led the distribution of aid to beneficiaries who sought help from the city for their medical needs.
The assistance was distributed at the Dr. Alejandro Albert Elementary School, where the mayor personally delivered the support, allowing residents to receive aid without having to spend on transportation or make repeated trips to City Hall.
City officials said the Kaagapay Program, held every Saturday, is designed to bring government services directly to Manileños, making assistance more accessible and immediate for those in need.
Domagoso said the city government continues to extend its reach to more residents.
“As much as we can, we’re really trying to accommodate, or akapin at pahabain ang aming mga kamay,” he said, underscoring the city’s efforts to respond to the needs of every Manileño.
The program is part of the local government’s ongoing initiative to provide accessible medical assistance while helping ease the financial burden of residents, particularly those who cannot afford healthcare expenses.
