Mayor Biazon says Muntinlupa university soon to offer nursing course
Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon said the city-funded Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) is on track in its aim to offer a nursing course.
“One step closer tayo sa pangarap na magkaroon ng Bachelor of Science in Nursing sa Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa! (We are one step closer to our dream of having a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa!),” he said.
The technical working group is already complete and is tasked to focus on the proposed plan to open the nursing course at the PLMun.
“Marami pang requirements at proseso ang dadaanan, pero each step ay mas inilalapit tayo sa goal na ito (There are still many requirements and processes to go through, but each step brings us closer to this goal),” the mayor added.
Biazon said part of a health agenda is to produce homegrown healthcare professionals who will serve residents in the future.
The plan to open a nursing course came after the establishment of the PLMun-OsMun [Ospital ng Muntinlupa] College of Medicine.
The first batch of the Doctor of Medicine program graduated recently.
