Taguig police nab woman for falsification, 2 drug suspects

Police arrested a 63-year-old woman for falsification of public documents and two men for illegal drugs in Taguig City on Friday, July 31.
Operatives of the Taguig police’s Station Warrant and Subpoena Section served a warrant of arrest against alias Florita in Barangay Tuktukan, Taguig.
Florita was listed as the Southern Police District’s No. 4 most wanted person.
The warrant was issued by the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 267 for 19 counts of falsification of public documents, with bail set at ₱72,000 per count or a total of ₱1.36 million.
She was taken to the Taguig City Health Office for physical and medical examination before detention.
In Barangay Pembo, Taguig, police arrested two newly identified street-level drug personalities in a buy-bust operation.
The suspects were identified as alias Israel, 28, a tricycle driver, and alias Rommel, 39, a cook, both residents of Taguig.
The operation was carried out by elements of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Sub-Station 10.
An undercover officer purchased shabu from the suspects, leading to their arrest.
Police seized eight plastic sachets containing 13.54 grams of shabu valued at ₱92,072, a .38-caliber revolver without a serial number loaded with three live rounds, and buy-bust money.
The two will face complaints for violation of Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco commended the teams for the operations.
