Jones led the way with 28 points and nine rebounds while Winston did a little bit of everything with 24 points, six rebounds and five assists — including seven straight points to open the fourth and help NLEX pad a 102-91 cushion.
Converge mounted a late rally and cut its deficit to just two, 103-105, but Jones slammed the door on the comeback with a personal 8-0 run to that restored a 113-103 lead for NLEX.
Robert Bolick came a rebound shy of a triple double for the second straight time, firing 19 points, 10 assists and nine boards, while Anthony Semerad and Kevin Alas provided ample support with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Jamal Franklin paced Converge with 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists while Mikey Williams chipped in 18 points. Justin Arana and Juan Gomez de Liano had 16 and 14 points in a losing effort for the FiberXers, who absorbed their third-straight loss for a 3-3 slate.
