Filipino boy band New:ID and South Korean agency MLD Entertainment have mutually agreed to terminate their exclusive contracts, ending the group's management under the company.
In a statement released Friday, MLD Entertainment said the decision followed extensive discussions between the agency and the members and was reached with mutual respect.
The company thanked members Wilson, Macky, L, Thad and Jom for their dedication and commitment throughout their time with the agency.
MLD Entertainment also expressed support for the members' future endeavors and encouraged fans to continue backing them as they begin the next chapter of their careers.
New:ID was launched by MLD Entertainment as a Filipino boy group. The agency also manages Filipino boy band HORI7ON and K-pop girl group Lapillus, and previously handled K-pop group Momoland.
