14 hurt in military crane crash in Sulu

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Fourteen persons were injured after a military crane crashed in Indanan, Sulu on Friday, July 31.
Investigation said the crane from the 545th Engineering Brigade was travelling along Kilometer 2 in Barangay Kajatian when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The truck rammed two utility vehicles and three motorcycles and injured several civilians.
The victims were taken to the Sulu Integrated Provincial Hospital.
The 11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division expressed “deep concern for the injured civilians and wishes them a swift and full recovery.”
The truck was enroute to support a mobile crane mission when it experienced a mechanical malfunction.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
