Drug convict, slay suspect nabbed in Muntinlupa, Taguig

Police arrested a man convicted of illegal drugs and another suspect in a robbery-homicide case in Muntinlupa and Taguig on Thursday, July 30.
The Southern Police District’s (SPD) District Mobile Force Battalion, District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), and Muntinlupa police nabbed alias Neil, 21, a construction worker from Barangay Alabang. He was listed as the No. 8 most wanted person in Muntinlupa in July.
Authorities served a warrant of arrest for service of sentence issued by the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 204 on June 25.
He was convicted of violating Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) under Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. He is now detained at the Muntinlupa police station’s custodial facility.
In Taguig, police from Sub-Station 7 arrested alias Eric Jon, 34, of Barangay Upper Bicutan, for robbery with homicide. He was tagged as the city’s most wanted person.
The Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 266 issued a warrant of arrest with no bail recommended on July 27.
The suspect was taken to the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital for medical examination before detention.
Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco, SPD district director, commended the operating teams in Muntinlupa and Taguig for the successful arrests.
