Sam Smith announces engagement to BF Christian Cowan

Grammy-winning singer Sam Smith is now engaged to his boyfriend Christian Cowan.
Smith announced the engagement in a recent interview with The New York Times.
Sam said "Everlasting Love," the first song on his upcoming album "Hazel Eyes," was written the night before their first date.
They finished the song as their relationship grew.

Sam said the album is the first time he has writen something about mutual love.
He also said that it celebrates queer relationships during a sold-out show in San Francisco.
In May, reports said the couple was overheard talking about their engagement at the Mark Hotel before attending the 2026 Met Gala together.
