Jimin's shirt fetches $110K at charity auction

BTS member Jimin's shirt worn during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Topps Final Halftime Show sold for $110,000, tying for the highest-priced item at a charity auction benefiting children's education.

The shirt matched the winning bid for a game-used ball from the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at New York New Jersey Stadium during Christie's "One Goal: An Auction to Benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund," which concluded on July 29.

The auction, organized by Christie's and advocacy organization Global Citizen after the World Cup, featured 27 items, including stage outfits worn during the halftime show by BTS, Shakira, Madonna and Justin Bieber, as well as match-used soccer balls and jerseys.

According to Christie's, the auction raised a total of $652,630.

Among the other BTS items, Jungkook's jacket and V's scarf each sold for $46,200. Suga's pants fetched $33,000, J-Hope's gloves sold for $28,600, RM's boots brought in $19,800, and Jin's belt was auctioned for $16,500.

Proceeds from the sale will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a $100 million initiative aimed at expanding access to quality education and football programs for children around the world through grassroots organizations and inclusive learning initiatives.
