fitterkarma announced that they will release a debut album on September 9, 2026 and perform a full concert on September 19, 2026 alongside string quartet The Manila String Machine

After making waves with hits like "Kalapastangan" and "Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II," alternative band fitterkarma is set to hit another milestone with the release of their debut album on September 9.

Beyond that, the band is also to perform at a one-night orchestral concert at the Metropolitan Theater Manila, scheduled on September 19, alongside string quartet The Manila String Machine.

The announcement came with the cryptic line, "Kung tayo'y nasa isang horror na pelikula, tiyak ako ang una mong papatayin," a lyric teased at the end of the music video for their latest single, "maryclaire."

The concert poster continues the band's signature horror-inspired aesthetic, depicting an eerie colonial-era room occupied by a veiled woman in white.

Known for blending alternative rock with dark urban imagery and elements of Philippine folklore, fitterkarma has become one of the country's fastest-rising indie acts.

Formed in 2023, fitterkarma currently consists of Joao de Leon (vocals, guitar), Sophia Miranda (bass), Sanders Bayas (drums) and Mikee Mendoza (guitar).

Their breakout singles "Kalapastangan" and "Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II" continue to chart highly in the Philippines.
