Ayala Land leads Philippine winners at 2026 regional HR excellence awards

Real estate giant Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) emerged as the top Philippine winner at the 2026 Human Capital Awards Southeast Asia, leading a group of four recognized Filipino companies.
ALI took home one Gold and three Silver awards for its people-first strategies, workplace innovation, and enterprise-wide human capital transformation. Universal Robina Corp. and PLDT/Smart Communications each secured a Gold and a Silver, while SM Supermalls received a Silver award.
Presented by The Economic Times HRWorld Southeast Asia (ETHRWorld SEA), the Human Capital Awards Southeast Asia honor regional organizations for outstanding people practices that drive business performance, innovation, employee experience, and organizational growth. The program aims to inspire organizations to invest in their people and unlock human potential to create lasting business impact. The awarding ceremony was held on July 24, 2026, at the One Farrer Hotel in Singapore.
Ayala Land noted that earning the highest number of awards among Philippine companies highlights its continued investment in building a high-performing, future-ready workforce that supports long-term growth.
Recognized for Excellence in People and Culture, ALI received Gold in Excellence in Reward & Recognition Strategy for transforming its Total Rewards framework into an integrated, performance-linked model that supports business objectives. It earned a Silver in Excellence in HR Digital Transformation for HIVE, an enterprise-wide initiative that unified HR systems across the Ayala Land Group. The company also bagged a Silver in Excellence in Creating a Culture of Continuous Learning and Upskilling for its business-driven development strategy, and another Silver in Excellence in Cultivating a Culture of Trust and High Performance for strengthening an environment anchored on accountability and collaboration.
