PGA Cars celebrates 30 years of Porsche in the Philippines

Porsche reveals Exclusive Manufaktur options

PGA Cars marked 30 years in the Philippines with a special celebration at its Porsche EDSA Showroom. PGA Cars has served as the official distributor of Porsche cars in the Philippines since 1996.
Their stewardship of the brand has spanned such iconic Porsche 911 generations such as the 964, 993, 996, 997, 991, and 992. PGA Cars also introduced iconic models like the Cayenne, Boxster, Cayman, and Macan, Panamera, and Taycan to the Philippines.
To mark 30 years of stewardship of the revered marque, PGA cars gathered a collection of iconic models and put them on display. These included icons like the 356, 911 (930), Cayman GT4 RS, and rarities like the Carrera GT and 918 Spyder.
1 of 1, 911 Targa 4 GTS
Porsche Philippines also revealed a special 1 of 1 model to commemorate the event, a 911 Targa 4 GTS festooned with custom touches. Facilitated by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the brand's in-house customization division, the bespoke customizations were tailored to PGA Cars’ exact specifications.
The 1 of 1 911 Targa 4 GTS is painted in a special Pastel Orange finish, which Porsche said was inspired by the Philippine sunrise. It also comes with an illuminated door sill plate to celebrate Porsche Philippines' 30th anniversary in the country. Other bespoke touches include gloss black finishes on the side mirror caps, Porsche decals on the doors, black brake calipers that are paired to black alloy wheels with locking center caps, and puddle lamps that show the Heritage Design & Icons of Cool logo.
Inside, the unique 911 Targa 4 GTS gets full leather upholstery with orange contrast stitching to go along with the Pastel Orange exterior.
The Exclusive Manufaktur service can be availed of by any Porsche Philippines customer and will gladly be facilitated PGA Cars.
Porsche 911 Turbo S Hybrid
In addition to the 911 Targa 4 GTS, Porsche Philippines also revealed the all-new high-performance flagship model, the 911 Turbo S Hybrid. It’s powered by a 3.6L flat-six that generates 711-PS at 6,500 to 7,000 rpm and 800-Nm of torque between 2,300 and 6,000 rpm. Being a hybrid, it also has a pair of electric turbochargers, an electric motor, and a small 1.9 kWh battery.
Power is then sent to an 8-speed PDK (dual-clutch) gearbox and an AWD system. The 911 Turbo S Hybrid can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and can reach 200 km/h from a standstill in just 8.4 seconds, and on to a top speed of 322 km/h.
