iKON's Ju-ne to fulfill military service as active duty soldier
K-pop boy band iKON member Ju-ne, 29, will be enlisting in the military as an active duty soldier.
143 Entertainment, his agency, announced on July 28 that Ju-ne is scheduled to enter the training center on August 11.
No special ceremony will be held for Ju-ne on the day of his military enlistment.
"Since the day of entry into the recruit training center is a gathering of many soldiers and their families, we do not plan to hold a separate official ceremony to prevent safety accidents.. We ask fans to refrain from visiting the site and request your understanding and cooperation,” it said.
Ju-ne is the last member of iKON to enlist. Members Chan, Jay, Song and Bobby have completed their military service while DK will be discharged Jan. 27 next year.
Ju-ne debuted in iKON in 2015.
