Housewife stabbed to death in Kabankalan City home

BACOLOD CITY – A 33-year-old housewife was stabbed to death in her home in Sitio Dangalon, Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on Sunday, July 26.
Police Lt. Nolly Gudaca, deputy chief of Kabankalan City Police Station, identified the victim as Ai-ai.
Investigation said the victim and her three children were sleeping when an unidentified person barged inside their house and stabbed her.
The victim resisted the attack which prompted the suspect to flee. One of her children was awakened saw her bring stabbed.
Her husband arrived from driving a tricycle at the city proper and she was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
