GAC Philippines has just unveiled its expanded MPV range with three seven-seat models covering gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The lineup consists of the all-new GAC GN6, GAC E8 HEV and GAC GN8 PHEV Executive. Together, the three models cover different parts of the MPV market, beginning with a practical family model and extending to a full-size flagship for premium family and corporate use.
GN6 1.5 Turbo
The all-new GN6 will serve as the entry point to the range. It is positioned for growing families looking for seven seats, flexible interior space and equipment suited to everyday use.
Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. The GN6 has a manufacturer-rated fuel economy figure of up to 14 km/L and a maximum driving range of 728 km from its 52-liter fuel tank.
The GN6 provides 324 liters of luggage space with all seven seats in use. Its third-row seats can be folded completely flat and stored beneath the cargo floor, increasing available capacity to 1,100 liters.
GAC says the expanded cargo area can accommodate as many as fourteen 20-inch suitcases. The arrangement allows the GN6 to switch between carrying a full complement of passengers and transporting larger loads.
E8 HEV
Positioned above the GN6 is the GAC E8 HEV. The hybrid MPV is intended for families looking for a larger cabin and more passenger-focused comfort features.
Its powertrain combines a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle hybrid-dedicated engine with a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. The system provides a manufacturer-rated maximum combined driving range of more than 1,000 km.
The E8 HEV has a 2,930 mm wheelbase and a flat-floor cabin layout. Power-operated sliding doors and a low step-in height provide easier access to the passenger compartment. The second row is equipped with seats offering zero-gravity configurations, ventilation and massage functions. The third row also folds outward, facing the back with the rear gate open, in what GAC calls a Tea Break configuration.
Level 2 driver-assistance technology forms part of the E8 HEV’s equipment. Further details on the systems included in the Philippine-market vehicle were not provided in the teaser.
GN8 PHEV
The GN8 PHEV Executive sits at the top of the three-model lineup. The full-size seven-seat MPV is positioned for premium large families and corporate clients.
GAC Philippines announced an official suggested retail price of ₱3,388,000 for the GN8 PHEV during the 2026 Manila International Auto Show.
Its plug-in hybrid powertrain provides a manufacturer-rated combined driving range of up to 1,038 km. The vehicle can also travel up to 120 km using electric power under the NEDC testing cycle.
The cabin is centered on the second-row captain’s chairs. These are upholstered in semi-aniline genuine leather and equipped with four-way adjustable leg rests, ventilation, heating and massage functions.
The GN8 PHEV Executive also receives additional acoustic insulation, a multizone climate-control system, an integrated ceiling-mounted screen and dual power-operated sliding doors.
These features allow the GN8 PHEV Executive to serve as either a premium family MPV or a mobile working space for corporate passengers.
The introduction of the expanded MPV lineup follows GAC Group’s milestone of reaching 30 million cumulative vehicles in production and sales in July 2026.
Internal combustion vehicles are covered by warranties of up to five years or 150,000 km. GAC’s EV models receive warranty coverage of up to eight years or 160,000 km, while their core electric systems are covered for up to eight years or 200,000 km. New GAC vehicle owners also receive two years of roadside assistance.
The all-new GAC GN6, E8 PHEV, and GN8 PHEV Executive are now available at special introductory prices until Aug. 31, 2026. The GN6 is priced at ₱1,198,000 before increasing to ₱1,298,000, while the E8 PHEV is available for ₱1,778,000 before returning to its regular price of ₱1,858,000. The GN8 PHEV Executive is offered at ₱3,338,000 during the introductory period, after which it will be priced at ₱3,488,000.
All three models are now available for viewing and test drive at all authorized GAC dealers.
