Taguig police arrested a 30-year-old foreign vlogger from Ivory Coast after he allegedly harassed and threatened a mall employee in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) on July 27.
The suspect, identified only as alias Jeovani, resides in Barangay Ususan, Taguig.
Police said the incident happened around 11:15 a.m. when the complainant, a 37-year-old female area manager, was outside her workplace.
The vlogger allegedly confronted her, shouted profanities, and accused her of recording him without consent. He then issued verbal threats.
Mall security subdued the suspect and turned him over to Fort Bonifacio Sub station 1.
He was later brought to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital for medical examination before being transferred to the Station Investigation and Detection Management Section.
Authorities said he will be charged with unjust vexation under Article 287 of the Revised Penal Code.
