Purple took over SM City Manila as Rise Energy Pop introduced its newest beverage through "A Pop of Surp-Rise," a launch event designed to reflect the brand's youthful personality. Music, games, performances, and interactive booths welcomed members of the media, content creators, influencers, and guests for an afternoon centered on the brand's first product, Rise Energy Pop Grape.
The new carbonated drink is aimed at younger consumers juggling school, work, side hustles, content creation, and busy social calendars. According to marketing head Apple de Belen, the brand was developed after observing Gen Z's preference for beverages that are both refreshing and suited to their fast-paced lifestyle.
"We noticed that younger consumers, especially Gen Z, are always looking for something new and exciting," Apple said. "They want drinks that are delicious, refreshing, and bagay sa kanilang fast-paced lifestyle. That inspired us to create something that offers an enjoyable beverage experience."
Leading the lineup is Rise Energy Pop Grape, a sparkling grape-flavored drink that the company says is intended for casual occasions, whether during study breaks, gaming sessions, hangouts, or spontaneous outings.
Senior brand manager Joanna Araullo said the brand was designed to fit naturally into the everyday routines of today's consumers.

"When we created Rise Energy Pop, we wanted to offer something more than just a drink. We wanted a brand that naturally fits today's lifestyle—fun, enjoyable, flavorful, and exciting," she said.
Araullo added that grape was selected as the launch flavor because it reflects the brand's energetic and playful identity.
"For our launch flavor, we chose Grape because it perfectly captures the fun, vibrant, and playful personality of the brand. It's youthful, exciting, and expressive—exactly the kind of experience we want Rise Energy Pop to deliver. Even its signature purple color reflects the bold and energetic spirit of Rise. We can't wait for everyone to experience Rise Energy Pop and discover why 'Sarap Mag-Rise!'"
The event also introduced three brand pillars—Refreshi-Rise, Yummi-Rise, and Invigo-Rise—through themed activity booths. Guests posed for photos in a grape-inspired installation, sampled the new beverage, and participated in arcade-style games and a claw machine challenge.
Rise Energy Pop also unveiled its first campaign video featuring brand ambassadors Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji, alongside the brand anthem built around the tagline "Sarap Mag-Rise!"
Rise Energy Pop Grape is now available in supermarkets, groceries, convenience stores, and sari-sari stores nationwide.
