President Marcos' speech for his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) will last for more than an hour, a Palace official said.

Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said the President's speech will take 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Aside from the expected length of Marcos' speech, the Palace official did not disclose any further information.

The President will deliver his SONA at 4 p.m. on Monday, July 27.

Final preparations for his speech were made by Sunday night, Malacañang said.

In an ambush interview last week, Marcos said he would report on what his administration has achieved since the last SONA.

When asked if he would address corruption in his public address, he said to "watch out for the next chapter."
