Cavite PNP assures readiness, deploys 347 personnel for SONA
CAVITE – The Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) assured the public of its full security readiness for President Marcos' fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 27.
Cavite PPO Director Col. Ariel R. Red said the police respect and uphold the constitutional rights of every Filipino, including the rights to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression.
However, he urged the public to exercise these rights responsibly and in accordance with the law.
The provincial police office also encouraged residents to remain vigilant, cooperate with authorities, and immediately report suspicious individuals, activities, or unattended objects to the nearest police station.
On Sunday, July 26, the Cavite PPO deployed 347 personnel to Metro Manila to reinforce security operations for the event.

The contingent is composed of 325 civil disturbance management personnel, 10 administrative support personnel, eight security personnel, and four drivers.
Red said the deployment is part of the Cavite PPO's commitment to supporting the PNP's mission of ensuring a safe, peaceful, and orderly environment during the SONA.
