Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo celebrated her 38th birthday with a heartwarming family reunion, sharing the stage and microphone with her father, Delfin Geronimo, in another meaningful milestone in their journey toward reconciliation.

On Saturday, Sarah surprised fans by posting on Instagram a special duet with her Tatay Delfin.

She shared a behind-the-scenes video from their recording session, describing the collaboration one of the most meaningful birthday gifts she could give herself.

"This is a gift to myself, to everyone, and my father. To celebrate him and our love for music," she wrote in the caption.

The video captured moments between father and daughter as they worked together in a recording studio.

The post also featured Tatay Delfin sharing a heartfelt message for Sarah.

"Sobrang proud ako sa anak ko kasi siguro, sa kaniya lang ako nakakakuha ng lakas ng loob. Sobrang saya ko, at masyado akong na-touch sa mga kanta. Habang kumakanta kami, para akong maiiyak," he said.

Meanwhile, Sarah said it had always been her dream to perform with her father.

"Sobrang masayang-masaya ako dahil I got to do this with the dearest person in my life—siyempre, ang tatay at nanay ko. Kasama ko ang tatay ko ngayon, sharing beautiful music. Performing together is such a dream come true," she said.

The video became even more special with the appearance of her mother, Mommy Divine, during the recording session.

In the Instagram Reel, Sarah shared a touching moment with her mother as they exchanged a half-hug and a kiss on the cheek.

For the first release of their project, Sarah and Delfin covered Jose Mari Chan's "Refrain," a song by an artist whose music they both love. Their rendition is now available on Sarah's official YouTube channel.

The reunion delighted Popsters and netizens alike, with many expressing their joy at seeing Sarah and her parents together again after years of their reported family dispute.

The reunion comes after years of reports about Sarah's strained relationship with her parents following her marriage to Matteo Guidicelli in 2020.

In 2023, Sarah apologized to her parents in a now-deleted letter amid reports of a family rift.

By 2024, she confirmed that she had reconciled with her mother, Divine.

Fans were also happy to see Sarah reconnect with her father, Delfin. The two have since made several public appearances together, including a Father's Day outing last June.
