Pop icon Debbie Gibson praises Filipino singers performing her song 'Lost In Your Eyes'

American singer-songwriter Debbie Gibson was thrilled to witness a group of Filipinos enthusiastically singing her hit song "Lost in Your Eyes" during a karaoke session.

Debbie posted her reaction on Facebook, where she also tagged "The Voice Generations" finalist Fedrianne Quilantang Villanueva, one of the singers featured in the viral video.

"OMG my songwriter heart is so happy! Chef's Kiss Fedrianne Quilantang Villanueva and friends. Next time I'm in the Philippines. I wanna be invited to the party! But for now ... I'm crashing virtually," Debbie wrote in her caption.

Fedrianne was thrilled by Debbie's reaction in the video.

"WHHHAATTTT!!! DEBBIE GIBSON??? THANK YOU SO MUCH," Fedrianne wrote.

The heartwarming interaction thrilled Debbie’s fans, with many applauding the Filipinos’ rendition of the timeless hit and the singer’s warm reaction to their performance.

Released in 1989, the single from her best-selling album "Electric Youth" remains one of Debbie's biggest hits and continues to be a Pinoy favorite.
