President Marcos was making final preparations for his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Sunday, July 26.

The President released a 23-second clip on Sunday night, showing him rehearsing his fifth public address to be delivered on Monday, July 27.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) also released a series of photos of him preparing for the SONA.

"President Marcos is doing final preparations for his fifth State of the Nation Address, which he will deliver tomorrow, July 27, before a joint session of Congress at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City," Malacañang's communication arm said.

In an ambush interview, Marcos said he would report about what his administration has achieved since the last SONA.

When asked if he would address corruption in his public address, he said to "watch out for the next chapter."

Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro earlier said that the President's fifth SONA will be 'simple but dignified."
