1,036 Cordillera, 339 Calabarzon cops tapped to secure SONA

The Police Regional Office Cordillera and Calabarzon deployed 1,036 and 339 policemen, respectively, to secure President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s fifth State-of-the-Nation Address (SONA) in Quezon City on Monday, July 27.
Police Brig. Gen. Ericson Dilag, PRO-Cordillera chief, said that they embody the discipline, competence, and dedication expected of every Cordilleran police officer.
He reminded them to remain alert, exercise maximum tolerance, and strictly adhere to established operational procedures during the event.
Dilag said sufficient personnel remain deployed across the Cordillera Administrative Region to sustain police visibility, maintain peace and order, and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of public safety services.
The Police Regional Office 4-A deployed 339 lawmen for the SONA.
They were reminded during their send-off ceremony in Camp Gen. Paciano Rizal in Santa Cruz, Laguna on Sunday to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and vigilance while performing their duties in the annual presidential address.
They were also reminded to maintain public safety, respect human rights, and ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of the national event through coordinated and mission-focused police operations.
