Driver escapes as car catches fire on MacArthur Bridge

A Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) driver escaped unharmed after the multi-purpose vehicle he was driving caught fire early Friday morning, July 24, on a section of MacArthur Bridge in Ermita, Manila.
The Hyundai Stargazer burst into flames around 4 a.m., with the blaze reportedly traced to its battery.
The driver, identified only as Denver, managed to get out of the vehicle safely but was unable to use his fire extinguisher to contain the flames.

Responding firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire before it could spread further. Personnel from the Manila Police District Station 5 also investigated the incident.

No injuries were reported, but the vehicle was left heavily damaged.
