Thai singer Jung, a member of boy band Perses, has apologized to Tomorrow X Together (TXT) member Choi Yeon-jun after online users pointed out similarities between promotional images for his debut solo single "Fly" and photos from Yeonjun's 2025 release "No Labels: Part 01."

Jung issued the apology after an emotional Instagram Live, during which he addressed the controversy and said he took responsibility for the situation.

"I take full responsibility for what happened. As an artist, I respect the work of everyone in this industry, both on stage and behind the scenes, and I understand how much effort goes into every piece of work," he said.

The issue gained attention after social media users compared Jung's promotional photos with Yeonjun's concept images, alleging that they shared similar visual elements.

Responding to the criticism, Jung acknowledged the similarities but said he had no intention of copying Yeonjun's work.

"Regarding the resemblance between my solo promotional photo and Choi Yeonjun's concept, I only found out this morning, along with everyone else. So I want to sincerely apologize to Choi Yeonjun and to MOA. I never intended to copy anyone's work. This happened because I didn't review the promotional materials carefully enough. I have no excuse," he said.

Jung also said the music video for "Fly" does not reference Yeonjun's work.

"I sincerely apologize to Choi Yeonjun of TXT, to MOA, to P'Golf F.Hero, to our production team, and to everyone involved who was affected by this. And most of all, I want to apologize to Pieces for letting you down. This was my first solo project, and I poured everything into it. I'll be far more careful moving forward. Again, from the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry to everyone affected," he said.

He added that his decision to address the issue publicly was his own.

"I wanted to apologize and explain things to everyone myself. My company did not ask or pressure me to do this in any way."

Jung's agency, Gnest, also released a statement acknowledging concerns over the promotional image.

The agency said it recognized shortcomings in its creative and review process that resulted in the image bearing similarities to an existing work, while maintaining that there was no intention to imitate another artist's creative expression.

Gnest said it had removed the promotional image from all of its official social media platforms and apologized for any disappointment or discomfort caused. The agency also said it would review and improve its internal processes to prevent similar issues in the future.
