Soon-to-rise PLM building to accommodate 5,000 students

The five-story academic building is being constructed on the site of the former Ospital ng Maynila building, which was demolished over the past three months to give way to the project.
Once completed, the new facility is expected to significantly expand the college’s capacity, from around 300 students at present to as many as 5,000 students.
City officials said the project aims to strengthen PLM’s healthcare education programs by providing more classrooms and training facilities for students pursuing allied health professions.
The city government said the expansion is expected to help produce more healthcare professionals who will serve not only Manila but also communities across the country.
During the inspection, Moreno assessed the progress of the project, which is part of the city government’s efforts to improve educational infrastructure and expand access to quality healthcare education.
