Remember Joshua Dionisio, the teen heartthrob who once had fans swooning over his “kilig” moments with Barbie Forteza?

Well, he has traded his teen idol days for a wedding ring.

Yes, Joshua is now officially a married man, recently tying the knot with non-showbiz girlfriend Allyza Yu.

The couple celebrated their wedding in an intimate and simple affair surrounded by family and close loved ones.

Photos shared on social media showed Allyza looking elegant in a minimalist white gown with thin spaghetti straps, paired with a bouquet of long-stemmed white calla lilies.

Joshua, meanwhile, kept his look classic and traditional in a light beige Barong Tagalog featuring subtle embroidery details.

For longtime fans, Joshua’s wedding brought back memories of his teen star era, especially his popular on-screen pairing with Barbie.

The two became one of the memorable young tandems of their generation through projects like “Stairway to Heaven,” “Tween Hearts,” and “Pilyang Kerubin.”

Note that Joshua previously opened up about his close bond with Barbie, saying they shared a special connection during that time.

“I don’t wanna be the one to put a label on it, pero we were very close talaga during that time,” Joshua said. “I don't wanna be the one to put specific labels. Talagang everyday kami magkasama.”
