Parklinks Run showcases wellness and active living in a growing mixed-use estate

Ayala Land and Eton Properties highlight their vision for a wellness-focused community through parks, open spaces, and new developments

Wellness is becoming a bigger focus in community planning. Beyond gyms and fitness programs, developers are investing in parks, open spaces, walkable streets, and activities that encourage active lifestyles. The Parklinks Run reflected this vision, bringing together runners, families, and pet owners while showcasing the estate's growing mix of residential, retail, educational, and lifestyle developments.
The 35-hectare master-planned estate, a joint venture between Ayala Land and Eton Properties, served as the race route, with participants running through its parks, landscaped walkways, and pedestrian-friendly streets. Runners in select categories also crossed the Parklinks Bridge spanning the Marikina River. The event featured 10K and 5K races, a Kids Run, and a Pet Walk, offering activities for participants of all ages.

After completing the race, participants gathered at the race village for wellness activities, interactive booths, and partner experiences. The celebration also featured rewards for runners, with top finishers earning round-trip Philippine Airlines tickets through Mabuhay Miles and raffle winners taking home prizes such as SMEG appliances. All registered participants likewise received Mabuhay Miles credits as part of their race package.

Half of the development is dedicated to parks and open spaces, supporting its vision of active and connected living. It features the three-hectare Central Park, riverside recreation areas, the Esplanade, and a network of walkable and bike-friendly paths that connect its different districts.
The estate also continues to expand its offerings. Residential developments include Parklinks North and South Towers by Ayala Land Premier and The Lattice by Alveo Land, while the Experience Center and show flats are now open to visitors. Multiple Intelligence International School (MIIS) is set to open its new campus in August, while Casa Ibarra Parklinks is preparing for a soft opening later this year, adding a venue for weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations.

Its next major milestone is the opening of the mall in 2027, bringing together retail, dining, wellness, and community spaces within the development. Ahead of its launch, retail pavilions are expected to open by the end of 2026, introducing specialty restaurants and new dining concepts. Together, these additions support the vision of creating a complete community where people can live, work, learn, shop, and spend their leisure time in one connected location.
The event reflected how Parklinks is designed to support wellness beyond race day. As more residential, retail, educational, and lifestyle developments open across the estate, it continues to evolve into a community that promotes active living and everyday convenience.
