ITZY's Ryujin sorry for putting her hand in costume during Manila concert
K-pop girl group ITZY’s Ryujin took to social media to explain why she put her hand in her costume on stage during their “Tunnel Vision” Manila concert on July 11.
In the video clip, Ryujin is seen adjusting her costume and putting her hand in her shorts. This spread online and caused an issue.
In a live broadcast online, Ryujin said, “I have received so many calls and reprimands from those around me. I would like to offer an apology and explanation to my fans regarding putting my hand in my pants.”
She said she adjusted her costume as her jumpsuit rode up too high and it was painful.
“The jumpsuit rode up too high and it really hurt. I pulled it down without thinking much about it, but when I watched the video again later, even I thought it looked a bit strange. My hand did go in quite a bit. I am sorry to the fans for doing that on stage,” she said.
She promised not to do it again.
“The jumpsuit tried to cut me in half and kill me. Putting my hand in my pants in a public place was wrong. I will not put my hand in my pants in the future, especially on stage,” she said.
