The B40e Trailmaster rEV pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged Miller-cycle gasoline engine with front and rear electric motors. Its dual-motor drivetrain produces a combined 547 PS and 655 Nm, with power sent through an electric four-wheel-drive system.

A 40.3-kWh ternary lithium-ion battery powers the electric drivetrain. BAIC claims a combined driving range of more than 1,200 km with the battery charged and the fuel tank filled.
The model rides on 20-inch two-tone alloy wheels fitted with all-terrain tires. Other exterior equipment includes power-retractable side steps and a panoramic sunroof.
Its cabin has a 12.8-inch infotainment display and a separate 12.8-inch screen for the front passenger. Heated, ventilated, and massaging leather front seats are standard, together with a front-passenger leg rest and a 12-speaker Infinity audio system.
The B40e Trailmaster rEV comes with a five-year or 150,000-km vehicle warranty. Its high-voltage battery is covered for the same period and distance.
The B40e Trailmaster rEV forms part of BAIC Philippines’ growing range of electrified off-road vehicles. The local lineup also includes the B30e Dune and the larger B60e Beaumont rEV.
