Apple raises iCloud+ prices in the Philippines

If you're paying for iCloud services, get ready for a slight price hike. Apple has increased iCloud+ subscription prices in the Philippines and seven other countries.
The increase affects Japan, Nigeria, Türkiye, Egypt, New Zealand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, with every paid storage tier hit in most of these markets, from 50GB up to 12TB.

iCloud+ is Apple's complete paid cloud storage service, which besides offering extra space to store files and create backups, it comes with iCloud Private Relay, which hides your IP address and encrypts Safari web traffic. However, iCloud Private Relay is not available in the Philippines to begin with, so users will be paying extra for a feature that isn't available to begin with. It does, however, include other features like Hide My Email, Custom Email Domain, and HomeKit Secure Video. All plans can be shared with up to five family members through Family Sharing.
Apple Music also got more expensive
Apple Music's Philippine pricing has also gone up, now starting at ₱85 per month for students, ₱169 for individuals, and ₱279 for families. Apple One, the bundle that combines iCloud+, Apple TV+, Apple Music, and Apple Arcade, now costs ₱499 per month for individuals and ₱629 for families, up from its original launch pricing.
Why is Apple raising prices now?
It may be likely linked to the overall memory crisis. Apple has increased prices across its products. In Japan, Apple products saw a 10% increase.
