Motivated after Galaxy Phoenix dropped NAVI PH to the lower bracket of the group stage right on its opening game, the Filipinas put up a masterful performance in the three-game sweep to arrange a duel with Team Vitality for the MWI crown and the $150,000 or P9.2 million top prize.

NAVI PH drew first blood in the series with Kaye “Keishi” Alpuerto providing the perfect setup with her Alice pick, catching two Galaxy Phoenix heroes and opening up the opportunity for the Filipinas to go for a four-man wipe.

In the second game, the Filipinas were much more dominant, creating a sizable gold advantage before fending off repeated efforts from the Cambodians to turn the tides. But the Galaxy Phoenix just couldn’t keep its base for too long as the NAVI PH put on the pressure in the final siege.

Refusing to go down without a fight, however, the Cambodian finally dictated the tempo in Game 3 after securing the turtle objectives.
The Filipinas secured some lifeline when it took the ninth-minute Lord before dragging the contest to the late game, enough for Lhoureain “Rianne” Alcaraz’s Karie to rich its power spike.
From there, Rianne simply tore through Galaxy Phoenix’s tanky frontline, securing a crucial double kill to help NAVI PH end the game.
