Man shot dead in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A 32-year-old man was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding gunmen in Barangay Zambowood here on Friday, July 17.

Police identified the victim as Mohammad Dail Ismael.

Investigation said Ismael stepped out of his pickup truck and the suspects alighted from their motorcycle, approached the victim, had a short conversation with him, and opened fire before fleeing.

The victim sustained multiple bullet wounds and taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation and manhunt operations.
