DoubleDragon tops off Quezon City's largest hotel as global expansion accelerates
Executives from DoubleDragon Corp., Hotel101, Megawide Construction Corp., Design Coordinates Inc., and JSLA Architects gather at the Hotel101-Libis site in Bridgetowne Estate, Quezon City, to mark the structural completion of the 702-room development on Friday, July 17, 2026.
DoubleDragon Corp. completed the structural framing and topmost floor of its 702-room Hotel101-Libis project on Friday, July 17, marking a key milestone in the property developer’s aggressive domestic and international hospitality expansion.
The topping-off ceremony for the project, located within Robinsons Land Corp.’s Bridgetowne Estate development, was attended by executives from DoubleDragon, Hotel101, and project partners including Megawide Construction Corp., Design Coordinates Inc., and JSLA Architects, according to a company statement.
Situated within walking distance of the Robinsons Opus Mall, the property is positioned to become the largest hotel by room count in Quezon City.
The Libis development is a core component of the company’s long-term strategy, dubbed the Hotel101 Global Vision. The initiative aims to build a portfolio of 50,000 uniform Hotel101 rooms in the Philippines and 1 million uniform rooms spanning 100 countries globally. DoubleDragon is leveraging an asset-light licensing model for its proprietary “HBNB” business framework, which it expects will secure a highly predictable, long-term recurring revenue stream.
The completion comes during what DoubleDragon identifies as a pivotal operational year. The company expects 2026 to deliver its highest annual volume of new room openings, with 2,229 additional keys scheduled to become operational across its global portfolio. The pipeline includes the recently opened 680-room Hotel101-Madrid in Spain, a 519-room property in Davao scheduled to open on July 30, a 548-room site in Cebu, and a 482-room development in Niseko, Japan.
Management anticipates that the influx of new properties will catalyze a substantial increase in recurring revenue starting this year. The company’s existing hospitality operations include the 518-room Hotel101-Manila and the 606-room Hotel101-Fort, both of which continue to operate at high occupancy levels. This hotel portfolio complements DoubleDragon's existing revenue-generating segments in provincial community malls, industrial warehouses, and office leasing.
International operations are already contributing to the top line. The Hotel101-Madrid property began generating operational revenues in March 2026, recently hitting a milestone single-day revenue surpassing €100,000 amid full capacity. Looking ahead, the company expects to log its first Japanese Yen-denominated recurring revenues when the Hotel101-Niseko property opens in December 2026.
DoubleDragon, which currently commands total assets of ₱225.3 billion, expects that the international scale-up of the Hotel101 brand will ultimately position the company as a significant driver of foreign currency inflows into the Philippine economy.
