AHOF's JL credits Sandara Park for his love of K-Pop

AHOF member JL Gaspar got his full circle moment meeting Sandara Park recently.

In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user @halmoniB, JL expressed his gratitude to the Pambansang Krung-krung, sharing that she was the one who introduced him to K-pop.

"Dahil po sa inyo po, nalaman ko po 'yung K-pop. Salamat po. Thank you so much," JL said as he bowed to Sandara.

Surprised by the gesture, Sandara replied, "Wow, very Korean! Picture tayo."

JL was surprised when Sandara insisted on taking a photo with him.

"Hala, totoo po ba yun?" JL said in surprise.

Sandara posted the photo on Instagram, saying she is happy to meet her "Kababayan."

"Nice to meet you! I'll always cheer you on!" she wrote.

Sandara, a member of 2NE1, has long regarded the Philippines as her second home. She returned to the country for a vacation last April.

Two months later, she was named promotional ambassador for South Korea's Overseas Koreans Affairs Office.

Meanwhile, JL Gaspar is a member of the South Korean boy group AHOF. The group released its comeback EP, "Run to You," in July.
