Bea Alonzo is back at work just days after quietly marrying businessman Vincent Co, with the couple choosing to put their honeymoon on hold as they focus on their respective careers.
The newlywed actress has resumed taping for GMA-7's upcoming primetime drama "Whispers From Heaven" in Pampanga, while Co is also busy attending to work commitments.
The arrangement was confirmed by TV host Boy Abunda, who revealed on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" that he spoke with Co after news of the couple's civil wedding became public.
Abunda shared that he congratulated Co and asked if the newlyweds were leaving for a honeymoon.
"'Hindi, Tito, maraming trabaho,'" Co replied.
According to Abunda, the businessman had never mentioned the wedding during their previous conversations about a possible film project.
"'The past few weeks, Vincent Co and I have been talking to each other because of a proposed project... pero not once did we talk about his wedding,'" Abunda said.
He added that Bea is currently in Pampanga taping "Whispers From Heaven," while Co also has work obligations, explaining why the couple has postponed their honeymoon for now.
Bea and Co exchanged vows in a private civil ceremony at Makati City Hall officiated by Makati Mayor Nancy Binay.
