Angelica Panganiban, 'Incognito' earn nominations at 2026 ContentAsia Awards
Angelica Panganiban and the ABS-CBN action series "Incognito" are among the Filipino nominees at the 2026 ContentAsia Awards, which honors outstanding television content and talent from across Asia.
Panganiban earned a nomination for Best Female Lead in a TV Programme/Series Made in Asia for her performance in "The Silent Noise." She will compete against Bella Ranee Campen ("My Sassy Wedding"), Kim Min-ha ("Way Back Love"), Kim Yoo-jung ("Dear X"), Park Bo-young ("Our Unwritten Seoul"), and Nora Samosir ("Boneka").
Meanwhile, "Incognito," produced by ABS-CBN Studios, secured a nomination for Best Drama Series Made in Asia for a Single Asian Market. It is up against "Algojo," "Aunty Lee's Deadly Delights," "Black Tide Island," "Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story," and "Holi-day."
Other Filipino productions and programs also made this year's shortlist.
ABS-CBN's "Call Me Mother," produced with The IdeaFirst Company and Viva Films, is nominated for Best Feature Film or Telemovie Made in Asia, while "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" earned a nod for Best TV Format Adaptation (Scripted) in Asia.
In the current affairs category, GMA Network's "Corruption Series: A Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho Special Report" and PTV's "Iskoolmates" are both nominated for Best Current Affairs Programme Made in Asia for a Single Market in Asia. PTV also received a nomination in Best Sports Magazine Programme Made in Asia for "PTV Sports."
The nominees were announced by ContentAsia, which said nearly 200 programs made this year's shortlist, recognizing premium video content and talent across multiple platforms in Asia.
Also nominated in the Best Drama Series Made in Asia for a Regional or International Market category are "Bon Appétit, Your Majesty," "Dear X," "The Hunt – The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case," "Passing the Reins," "Rosanjin's Stove," and "Swords into Plowshares."
The winners of the 2026 ContentAsia Awards will be announced during a ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand, on Aug. 27. This year's event will also feature the second Viewers' Choice Awards, supported by Rewind Networks.
