Private equity firm ABC Impact has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ayala Group's AC Health in expanding access to quality healthcare across the Philippines following a meeting with President Marcos during his working visit to Singapore on July 15.
The firm said its continued partnership with AC Health reflects its confidence in the company's plan to build a more integrated healthcare ecosystem for Filipinos while strengthening its longstanding relationship with the Ayala Group and the Temasek Trust ecosystem.
In a Facebook post after the meeting, President Marcos welcomed ABC Impact's continued investment, saying it demonstrates the confidence of the Temasek Trust ecosystem in the Philippines' future.
"I am pleased to welcome ABC Impact's continued investment in the Philippines, reflecting the confidence of the Temasek Trust ecosystem in our country's future," the President said.
Marcos said the partnership with the Ayala Group would support AC Health's expansion to at least 10 hospitals, 300 clinics, and 1,150 pharmacies nationwide by 2027 while creating around 10,000 direct healthcare and retail jobs.
"We will continue to welcome investments that strengthen our healthcare system and bring quality medical care closer to more Filipino families," he added.
According to ABC Impact, the fresh capital will support the expansion of AC Health's hospitals, multi-specialty clinics, and retail pharmacies through new developments, hospital bed expansion, and strategic acquisitions.
The investment is expected to help improve access to high-quality and affordable healthcare services for more Filipinos as the company expands its nationwide footprint.
The investment, first announced in August 2025, gave ABC Impact an approximately 16 percent minority stake in AC Health.
President Marcos was joined during the meeting by officials of the Department of Trade and Industry, as well as representatives of the Temasek Trust ecosystem and the Ayala Group, as part of his working visit to Singapore from July 14 to 16.
