Kim Soo-hyun resumes career with PH ad campaign

South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun is back.

Photos of the "My Love from the Star" and "Moon Embracing the Sun" actor with Ben Chan, founder of the Philippine clothing brand Bench, surfaced on Instagram, recently.

"Reunited with your @benchtm family, @soohyun_k216," Chan wrote in the caption.

Kim is front and center of a new advertising campaign for the local apparel company.

His agency, Gold Medalist, confirmed the same last month.

The project comes as Kim gradually resumes entertainment activities after stepping away from the spotlight for more than a year following the controversy surrounding the late actress Kim Sae-ron and allegations made by YouTuber Kim Se-ui.

South Korean authorities have since cleared Kim of allegations that he dated Kim Sae-ron while she was a minor.

Meanwhile, Kim Se-ui was indicted and later arrested on multiple charges, including defamation, over claims involving the actor.

Kim, one of South Korea's biggest television stars, has maintained a strong following in the Philippines through hit dramas such as "My Love from the Star," "Moon Embracing the Sun," "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," and, most recently, "Queen of Tears."
