Kim Molina breaks down after 'Wonderful Nightmare' tops Netflix PH

Kim Molina could not hold back her emotions after "Wonderful Nightmare" climbed to the No. 1 spot on Netflix Philippines, saying the film's success meant more to her because of the personal struggles she endured while making it.

Her husband and co-star, Jerald Napoles, shared a candid video of the actress becoming emotional as she thanked viewers for embracing the romantic comedy.

"Sa mga humahagulgol ngayon sa 'Wonderful Nightmare'... Si @Kim Molina na emotional sa pag-appreciate n'yo," Jerald wrote in the caption.

In the now-viral clip, Kim revealed that filming the movie was one of the most difficult experiences of her career, not because of the production itself, but because of the heartbreaking losses she suffered while working on it.

"Ang hirap i-shoot nito," she admitted.

According to Kim, she lost her beloved grandfather during production. Around the same time, she and Jerald also had to say goodbye to their first pet dog, making the entire filming process emotionally draining.

Those experiences, she said, have made the film's warm reception even more meaningful.

The heartfelt video has resonated with fans online, earning more than 12,000 views and drawing messages of support from viewers who said they, too, were moved by the film.

Many also congratulated Kim and the cast after "Wonderful Nightmare" claimed the top spot on Netflix Philippines, with several saying they were pleasantly surprised by the movie's mix of comedy, romance and heartfelt moments.
