Big Bang adds Manila stop to 20th anniversary 'XX : Cosmos' world tour

Filipino VIPs are getting their wish.

K-pop icons Big Bang have added Manila to their upcoming 20th anniversary world tour, "XX : Cosmos," after the Philippine capital was notably absent from the initial schedule announced in June.

The group confirmed on Tuesday that they will perform on Feb. 20, 2027, at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque. The updated announcement also revealed the official title of the tour, which marks two decades since Big Bang's debut.

The Manila stop comes as welcome news for Filipino fans, many of whom had expressed disappointment after the Philippines was left off the tour's original itinerary.

Following the announcement, social media was flooded with celebratory posts.

"Kasama na ang Pelepens. Sila pala 'yung sinasabi na magko-concert sa SMDC next year," one fan wrote.

Others commented, "Ayun kasama na rin hahahaha," "Pinakaba muna tayo ng mga ilang weeks," and "Muntik na sumama loob ko kasi walang Philippines nung huling post. Buti na lang nakabalik na sa mapa niyo. See you soon, Big Bang."
